Wow, so amazing to finally be here
in SoCal! After a bumpy ride where, thanks to Luke’s freestyle driving skillz,
my faith in God was reaffirmed, we’ve made it! We got a chance to scope out the
venue, and it’s incredible! The largest stage we’ve ever been on! Mark has had
to re-choreograph some of our songs to account for all the extra space we have.
Speaking of, Mark seems to especially be enjoying his time here in University Heights. He’s
really taken a liking to the locals. There have been a few older gentlemen who
have really expressed interest in taking him under their wing. I bet it’s so
refreshing for him to have elder figures supporting him and his Catholicism,
especially after feeling that his parents would reject him for it.
Juan is having a great time here
too. We haven’t found his parents yet, but I bet we’ve run into his cousins at
one point or another! Abe and I are closer than ever to finishing the song
we’ve been writing. He’s got so many great ideas. I think he wears that
Yarmulke to keep them from exploding out of his brain.
Well, it’s less than two weeks until
our final show and we can’t wait to unleash God’s love on San Diego! Diversionary Theatre is the
perfect place to seek salvation. The owners are such good Catholics; they’re
even serving the blood of Christ and other Mass-tastic Jesus
juices during our show! Saving the souls of these locals is gonna be a cinch!
