San Diego According to ALTAR BOYZ's Abe!

Nicholas Sloan is Abe in ALTAR BOYZ

What's up, what's up SD?! Abe an' da rest of the Boyz are finally in da house! We are totally amped to be here in University Heights! Our trip out here from Vegas went really well, but Luke's multiple cases of exhaustion held us up a bit since we all know you should NEVER drive while straight up exhausted, yo!

The Boyz and I got to have our first rehearsal in the actual venue the other night and we couldn't believe it! The Diversionary Theatre is mad gigantic! We knew that with this being our last concert of our Raise the Praise National Tour we needed to save the largest venue for last!

So, I have to admit... We had another reason for choosing SD as our last venue. Juan has this sneaking hunch that his parents are here in CA somewhere! So, the other Boyz and I have come up with a brilliant plan to find his parents!!! We can't wait to tell him!

You know, speaking of the Boyz, good news about Mark! It's actually amazing really... Mark is as Catholic as they come, yet since our arrival here in University Heights, his Catholic pride has grown to even larger heights! I didn't even think that was possible!

We are so proud of the people that have come to our concerts and had their souls saved! Believe it or not, some of our "Altarholics" (as they like to be called) have followed us all the way here from Ohio, Nevada, New York, Florida, Nebraska, etc, and have been begging us to put our godly rhythm in them again and again (My mother won't read this part right?)! One of them even made a shirt that said "I lovizzle Abe"! Ain't dat da bomb?! I believe her name was Danica Goldstein (My mother will read this part though, right?).

Alright, well Matthew's calling a band meeting in the van right now, he says there are nicer older gentlemen who want to show us some of the "hotspots" of University Heights so I gotta go! But I'll check back wit ya'll soon enough! Later G's!
ALTAR BOYZ runs from August 9th - 19th as part of On Stage at Diversionary Cabaret.  For tickets, click  HERE.

San Diego According to Altar Boyz' Matthew

Wow, so amazing to finally be here in SoCal! After a bumpy ride where, thanks to Luke’s freestyle driving skillz, my faith in God was reaffirmed, we’ve made it! We got a chance to scope out the venue, and it’s incredible! The largest stage we’ve ever been on! Mark has had to re-choreograph some of our songs to account for all the extra space we have. Speaking of, Mark seems to especially be enjoying his time here in University Heights. He’s really taken a liking to the locals. There have been a few older gentlemen who have really expressed interest in taking him under their wing. I bet it’s so refreshing for him to have elder figures supporting him and his Catholicism, especially after feeling that his parents would reject him for it.

Juan is having a great time here too. We haven’t found his parents yet, but I bet we’ve run into his cousins at one point or another! Abe and I are closer than ever to finishing the song we’ve been writing. He’s got so many great ideas. I think he wears that Yarmulke to keep them from exploding out of his brain.

Well, it’s less than two weeks until our final show and we can’t wait to unleash God’s love on San Diego! Diversionary Theatre is the perfect place to seek salvation. The owners are such good Catholics; they’re even serving the blood of Christ and other Mass-tastic Jesus juices during our show! Saving the souls of these locals is gonna be a cinch!

ALTAR BOYZ runs for 12 performances only from August 9th-19th at Diversionary Theater.  Get you tickets at HERE!
